One of Hyundai’s ad campaigns has started a viral phenomenon: the “Exobaby.” Seen in this ad here, the Hyundai Exobaby video follows a baby equipped with Iron Man-like technology, who’s able to avoid collisions, detect danger, and even “self-park.”
All are technologies you would want to protect your baby, and technologies you would want to protect yourself while driving a car. Each of the Exobaby’s abilities mirror one of the products in Hyundai’s top-notch vehicles.
The Exobaby video has received more than 14 million hits on YouTube alone, making it a certified viral sensation.
While responses have been mixed, from some people thinking the ad is genius to some finding the baby a bit creepy, almost all agree that the ad is clever and easy to identify, by blending the technology concepts with the cute imagery.
