As spring arrives and the cold, winter weather slowly fades away into memory, many will likely be inclined to get out their motorcycle for the first time in months.
Motorcycles come with their own list of risks, so just in case you’ve forgotten, we’ve come up with a short, refresher list of motorcycle safety tips:
- Test that everything on your motorcycle is still functioning properly and even consider taking it for a quick check-up before hitting the road again.
- Wear appropriate clothing that will protect you from wind chill, bugs, etc.
- Try to avoid riding in bad weather and remember that, if you have to ride in the rain, the most dangerous time is right after the precipitation begins.
- Always, always, always wear a sturdy, well-fitting helmet. It could truly save your life.
